DRYING WOOD
The wood used for burning should be properly dried, because wet and poorly dried wood gives more smoke than heat. The use of wood that is too moist lowers the combustion temperature, and the generated water vapor favors the deposition of soot and other wood impurities in the fireplace, /stove/ and chimney ducts. The dry firewood and firewood offered to you, dried in a kiln, after air seasoning, as in the photos in the gallery, is then thermally treated in a kiln at a temperature of up to 70 degrees Celsius, where all acids, juices and impurities in the in wood. The wood is dried to a moisture content of 15-20% so that during storage the moisture content of the wood does not exceed the moisture content required by the standard, i.e. above 25%. Thanks to this process, you buy a clean mass of wood without impurities and get one hundred percent of the calorific value of the burned wood.
